Videos From The Vault # 2 – Lottie Brunn

I have one of the largest, if not the largest, juggling video collections in the world. Therefore, I’ve decided to start to share videos that were previously not online, along with other videos of the same jugglers, in a series that I call Videos From The Vault.

The juggler for this installment is Lottie Brunn. Lottie (1925 – 2008) is generally regarded as the fastest female juggler of all time. She and her brother, Francis, were born in Germany and came to the United States in 1948. She could perform 8 rings at the age of 14 and had a phenomenal career performing all over the world. Her act featured ball spinning, combination tricks, and toss juggling with balls, rings, and spring head cage clubs. Lottie was given the IJA Historical Achievement Award in 1992. Her son Michael Chirrick continues her legacy, performing amazing juggling and ball spinning. Below are five photos of Lottie from my collection that haven’t been online before. Following those photos are three videos showing Lottie Brunn’s amazing act.

Here is a newly discovered video of Lottie from Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus from 1957.

Below are two more videos of Lottie Brunn that have been online for some time.

Lottie Brunn – 1952
Lottie Brunn continues to inspire jugglers today and will continue to do so for generations to come.
